This would make Edith aged 31 when she married, is that correct?

If this is the birth of Edith's child then you have Edith's age wrong.  She was the one born 1888 in Whitchurch as listed by garstonite.

I think Edith mary Morrey who married Frederick Oliver 1909 Whitchurch was more likey to be the Edith mary Morrey who was baptised 23 feb  1888
Do you think transcription of 1939 register may be a mistranscription?
You gave birth date of Edith Mary Morrey as 23 Feb 1878 Chorlton
The only baptism I can see which fits with that date is the one I gave in reply #4 and she doesn't appear to be Mrs Oliver by 1911

there is a death reg Edith M Oliver Mar qtr 1968 age 79 Bridgenorth Shropshire 9a 115
which seems to be a possiblity

What age is given for Frederick Oliver on 1939 register??

Could he have been in the  armed forces by 1911??

There is a birth of an Edith Mary Morray -

Mother's maiden name Sandbrook

Mary J Sandbrook married Henry Morray in 1882, Whitchurch.

The above birth ties in with the baptism previously posted, therefore I am of the opinion that the above Edith was the one that married Mr Oliver in 1909.

If you have a look at the 1911 hopefully you'll find Elizabeth Mary Oliver b.1910 with her mother Edith Mary which will then give you the correct age of Edith.
