Born in the Havodgynfawr part of Llangollen parish. This is to the south of the parish nearer Weston Rhyn. Some of my ancestors came from there.

Been looking at more booklets. Thomas and Mary had a daughter Elizabeth bpt. in 1763 but she died. Thomas was a smith. No sign of a marriage in the Llangollen booklets. Could have been St Martins, Chirk or Glynceiriog.

Have traced a possible birth for Thomas - b. 20th May 1739, bpt 24th. Parents were John and Mary. Abode was Cilcychwyn, which is in the Pontfadog part of the Llangollen parish, I think.  I'll check.

Many thanks to all who have replied, you have been busy while I was in Chapel.
I will have to take a sub with find my past to see if I can find his baptism.
The marriage posted here is his second marriage, his son from his first marriage was witness.
The death is also him.
He was a butcher but I think he became bankrupt and ended up in the poor house.
He was involved in one, if not more court cases.
Off to spend my money with find my past to find what Denbighshire records will show.
I was hoping that he would lead me to Ireland as I am still looking for "y Gwyddel coch"  ( the red haired Irishman) that my father used to say that I had inherited my temper from
