Sydney Road Childrens Home Hackney

Good evening

My Grandfather, his brother and three sisters were admitted into the Sydney Road Children's Home, Hackney on the 18th Feb 1910 and Discharged on the 25th Feb 1910(I have found the Admission/Discharge papers).

The boys were transferred to St Mary's Orphanage, North Hyde, Southall, Middlesex. (Roman Catholic school for boys). The girls were transferred to the Sacred Heart School, Homerton.

I have found them all on the respective 1911 Census for both schools.

The question I'm asking is: how would I go about finding when and where they were released to.

Both of their parents were alive as I have found them on 1911 census living my themselves.

... but I believe there aren't any separate records for this date. You would need to track the children through the records of the Hackney Board of Guardians, held at London Metropolitan Archives.
