Obadiah Flower died in Warminster 1850 Wiltshire
« on: Monday 20 February 17 16:05 GMT (UK) »
Hi All - I am looking for any information pertaining to this family who were originally from Heytesbury. Obadiah and his wife (Mary Ann Long) had numerous children, amongst them being Charles Flower. Charles Flower married married Mary Ann Dennis ( I have drawn an absolute blank as to where she was born and only know her father was John Dennis, and Ironmonger from Bristol. They married and had 3 children, Elizabeth Reed Flower, who was my 2nd Great Grandmother, Frederick Flower and Henry Charles. I have managed to trace Elizabeth Reed Flower and find out a lot of facts, but have found minimal for Frederick and Henry. Any information will be gratefully received.

Many thanks

Thank you ever so much ! Marriage date and place is quite correct.  Elizabeth Reed Flower was born in 8/09/1846,  Warminster, Wiltshire, England and married Frederick Henry Clappen. Her brother Frederick was born in 1843 in Warminster and Henry Charles was born in 1848 in Warminster. Their Mum, Mary Ann Long died in 1849 and Charles seems to have remarried !

Thank you  :)

That is very interesting indeed, so for example if someone were 55 it would say 60 on the census ?
Charles was born in about 1820 in Maiden Bradley
