George Albert Humphreys

Hi I am trying to find the names of George Albert Humphreys parents.  So far I have found that George was born in Liverpool in 1901 and married Doris M McCaw.  Any help would be much appreciated

I found the below birth on the GRO online index


HUMPHREYS, GEORGE  ALBERT  Mother's maiden name MITTON     
GRO Reference: 1901  D Quarter in TOXTETH PARK  Volume 08B  Page 133

This looks like the parents marriage:-

Marriages Jun 1900   

Humphries    George        Toxteth Park    8b   402
Mitton    Maude Alice    Toxteth Park    8b   402

I have found the family on the 1911 but we are not allowed to give details on here.  Goodness knows why as it is more than 100 years since 1911.

They are living in the Toxteth Park registration district.

If you put in George's name in the search field for 1911 you should come up with the family.

I'm afraid he won't because he is listed as plain Albert!

He's not showing on Ancestry very well under either spelling in 1911.

I am finding it quite hard to find him on ancestry.  I have tried Albert too

Thought i had found it under Albert but his father was called George and his name is Thomas on the 1911 census
