1911 Census John WALLACE age 4 at Ancona Nursery Home, Victoria Road, SANDOWN, Hampshire as Surgical patient - John broke his hip, walked with a limp, wore built up shoe. Was in hospital for many months. Often spoke fondly of his grandmother in the Isle of Wight and an uncle who pushed him around after he left hospital on a special flat wheelchair.

1913 or thereabouts Beatrice's son John went to Boarding school
1924 Beatrice and Ernest MYNORS-WALLIS divorced
