A search on
http://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk shows a mention of Clement Greenfield being committed for manslaughter of Jesse Moulding in August 1880 - if you search on "Jesse Moulding" there's a second record in Jan 1881 (Clement's name has been somewhat mangled by the OCR).
You would need credits to get the originals but just from snippets it appears Clement and Jesse argued and Clement struck Jesse in the head.
Other newspaper articles that might reference the same man including a 1872 reference to a Clement Greenfield in a list of "drunk and riotous" persons (refusing to leave a public house, I think), a 1889 reference to Clement Greenfield and another A?? Greenfield (possibly his wife Amy?), with a third person, refusing to quit licensed premises and assaulting a police officer, and in the same year, Clement Greenfield fined for dangerous driving. In 1901 he was again in court for disobeying a maintenance order (probably to do with not paying support for his wife and/or child).
Amy Greenfield herself appears several times in the newspapers (charges relating to drinking and theft).
