Christopher Hall
« on: Monday 27 February 17 20:38 GMT (UK) »
Hello
I'm trying to find more information about Christopher Hall - parents, siblings and children -  married to Mary Ann ?
Marriage of their son Charles Valentine to Sophia Sturch 1865 (All Saints Northampton) states Christopher as being a brush maker
Charles Valentine was baptised in Lambeth 30 July 1848
I cannot find any census records 1851 - 1881 which shows them as a family
Any help would be appreciated

There doesn't seem to be a birth registration with Valentine as a middle name unfortunately so can't find mothers maiden name.

Records indicate born 1846 so this could be him in 1851

Christopher Hall 42 brush maker born Norfolk
Mary Ann 35
Ellen 9
Henry 7
Charles 5
Mary Ann 2

Mothers name possible Herman if found the correct birth for Ellen
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

1851 census shows Charles V Hall as a grandson to John W Hall?

1861 shows him as son to Samuel Romilly Hall?

I saw the one with son to Samuel but that might be Charles Vincent Hall.

Just for info there are Christopher Valentine Hall's being baptised in Norfolk in the early 1800's so would seem logical he is descended from those.

I don't think Charles ever used his middle name even in record of marriage and census so this cold easily be him in Norfolk  Many thanks to everyone for their help
