"Body found in Queen's Dock"
« on: Tuesday 28 February 17 22:27 GMT (UK) »
There's a mysterious entry in the register of the Hull Charterhouse which I need some help with.  Robert Brook is recorded as having been admitted on 3 May 1887 aged 73.  He "left" on 7 Jan 1895 when his body was found in the Queen's Dock in Hull.  I've tried Brook, Brooke and Brookes  but I can't find anything else about him on FS or FBMD.  Help, please.

There is no newspaper report of the incident for that name and Year in the HDM but there is a death recorded in 1895 for Robert Brock aged 81 years found on Find My Past.
