Have you looked for them on the 1841/1851 census or later censuses?

Have you bought a copy of the marriage cert to establish his fathers name?

Have you checked Family Search for his baptism?

If any of the childrens births were registered you can check mothers maiden name as mentioned on your previous post   https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

In what way is he connected to your FH?

Family Search has him in 1841 - did you look?  Wife was then Susan so you can check for her death using freebmd

There was a John BRODEWICK (70) in Pinchbeck in 1841.

Perhaps he was the one who died in 1847 aged 88. (See FreeREG again)

Both lived on Northgate, Pinchbeck.

this might make things more complicated - but may be worth checking out

Israel Broadwick appears on 1841 census with Susan age 20 and William age 8 mths
Marriage FreeBMD
Jun qtr 1838
Wisbeach
on same page
Israel Bradwrick
Susanna Bradwrick
14 227
it looks like they had a son William (age 8 mths in 1841)
and a daughter Harriet b,c, 1843 St Giles cambridge

this is possibly Susanna's baptism

Susanna Broderick
baptised Apr 1826
Trinity Church Ely Cambridge
parents William & Susanna

daughter Harriet b.c. 1843 - I believe her name was Susan Harriet and she was not baptised until 5 Oct 1849  parents are given as Israel & Ruth(probably as the baptism was after the death of her mother ( although I haven't found a death reg for Susanna)
Susan Harriet broderick (father Israel) married Trojan George Draper (I believe this was his 2nd marriage) -in 1871 she uses the name Susan Harriet Draper but by 1881 she is using just  Harriet

There are also these baptisms
both at Sutton St Edmunds Lincoln
both to parents Israel & Susanna
Frederick Broderick 27 Oct 1839 -it seems Frederick died in infancy and was buried age 0 16 May 1840 in Lincoln
William Broderick baptised 4 Oct 1840

Although the marriage index in 1838 gave both the same surname, the birth index gives a different mother's maiden name.

Which child of Israel and Ruth is your ancestor?
