Birth date favour please

Hi all,

Could someone please have a look at a death record for me please? 

My step dad would like to know his Dads date of birth - I have viewed it before and told him but we've all completely forgot! The record is from the death index, details are:

William Geoffrey Hees, died Shropshire 1987. We know the year of birth was 1935.

He's sure its around this time of year so any help would be fantastic. Thank you, Lisa.

23.3.1935 given on the death registration but really you need the birth certificate to confirm its correct

Thanks willow  that's the date he remembers but had forgotten til I found it And then we both forgot lol x

I only said about the birth certificate because I know my dad put the wrong date of birth on my nan's death certificate - he put his own the 8th of August when hers was the 13th of August

I always try and confirm it now

I know what u mean willow...my great grandad gave the wrong date of birth when registering my nans younger brother!
