Trying to find clara webbs parents, clara was born around 1860 in stockport, she married william cuff in 1902 but do not know who her parents were

That would make her 42 when she married - is that correct?  William Thomas C Cuff was born 1871 as per freebmd

Do you have a copy of the marriage cert to confirm whether she was previously married and who her father was?

Have you looked for her on the 1901 census?

Where are they in 1911?  Any children born before 1902?

Yes that sounds right about her age but i am having trouble with ancestry

No the family lived in marple in cheshire in the early 1900s she owned webbs tea rooms

Where did you get her birthyear & birthplace from?

There is a Clara Cuff death in Cheshire 1950 but birthyear is shown as 1868 based on her age at death (ie) 82

William Thomas C Cuff married in 1902 at Hayfield, Derbyshire either Clara Webb or Jeannie Wingfield.

The 1902 marriage is on Freebmd. Purchasing that certificate might be a good place to start the search, as it should give her father's name.

I had a quick look for her in 1911, but couldn't see them as a couple, though there is a Clara Cuff living in Derbyshire, but age is wrong. How did you estimate Clara's year of birth as 1860?
