Christening LONG Merthyr Tydfil please

Been looking in vain for a Christening for 
Mary Ann LONG c1813/14 born in Merthyr Tydfil.

Married a David MATHEWS in Merthyr Tydfil in 1832.  They emigrated to the USA c1870.
David MATHEWS was Wedding witness to my Great Great Grandmother Elizabeth (Eliza) LONG
born 1837 MT, Wedding in Merthyr Tydfil.
So I  'assume' her Uncle?  And Mary Ann her Paternal Aunt?  She is down as born Merthyr Tydfil on the Census.
Elizabeth's Father was Henry LONG c1808 Unknown - 1848 MT. Wife Margaret nee JONES died the same year and their informant of death was a John LONG.  They are not on the 1841 Census.
The only John LONG I could find that fitted the time frame was born c1800 in Ireland.

Witnesses probably church officials as they appear on other marriages

Elizabeth LONG named her first daughter Mary Ann.

Starting to think either Henry and Mary were not registered or maybe born in Ireland, like John LONG.
