Mary Wilson death 7 Sep 1896 found here, hard to read, age 60, born Canada & registered as Mrs John Wallace.

Going back to my chart at reply #33, if John & Mary followed Scottish naming tradition the first boy should be named after John's father and the second girl after his mother, which makes John's parents Alexander & Isobel, which agrees with your original post.  The first girl should be named after Mary's mother and the second boy after her father which makes her parents William & Margaret Wilson.
