regardless of which site you are using, why don't you post the census piece, folio and page numbers of the entry you are looking at?

I think the enumerator has made a mistake and put 11 as in years rather than months, the ages of the other children descend accordingly

Too obvious that  but at least you agree with me about the 11 thing. Otherwise they are all in order apart from the last one -perhaps they weren't expecting him home that night LOL

Is a mistake eva must have been 11 months not 11 years as you say it not in order and 11 months would make her birth date correct and death marriage etc all tally if you put her as 11 months



Back to the original about Ada Davis and her mysterious disappearance.
It is possible she wasn't in the same place all her life
I.E as Rauceby Asylum (if that was the one) was commissioned in the war in 1940 -47 so I wonder where they put all the residents then?
All I know is my aunt remembers her mother visiting Ada just before she died as she got a call for her to come and she seems to think she went to Boston at the time. My guess late 50s early 60s.
