There is a 1935 birth record in Tobercurry (Co. Sligo) of a Patrick J DURKIN

LINK to familysearch.org

You would have to order the actual certificate to see the date of birth to be sure it is correct person, especially as there doesn't seem to be a Peter and Michael with the same mother (maiden name MARREN)

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

hello I am new to Rootschat and I saw the Durkin post. I don't have any answers for cheeseman but my husband's great grandfather was James Durkin from Sligo and he was born about 1853 and died in 1889 in Massachusetts. Have you done the DNA test to see if you match anyone?
Good luck in your search!!

I don't think English death certificates list names of parents but hopefully someone will be able to confirm or correct this.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
