marriage certificate canada 1900's help please.

I am trying to find out where my nan Rebecca Mason married grandad John Arthrell in Novascotia...possibly Stellarton, approx 1900.
Where do I start?
A shove in any direction would be great.I would love to get the details and even a copy of the certificate for my dad who is 80 years old.

Nova Scotia has plans to put their BMD indexes online in spring 2006 I believe. That could greatly help you in your search.

An agreement has been negotiated with The Genealogical Society of Utah, whereby all original records will be digitized by 31 March 2006 and integrated with accompanying name indexes, the latter in electronic database format

Onsite and online access to all Vital Statistics indexes and records is planned for April 2006
