If you haven't seen the death certificate for Mary - here is a copy - her daughter is names as the informant

A 1918 marriage would not be released yet, there is a 100 years privacy law in Canada.

Canada, Voters Lists, 1935-1980 shows the daughter with a husband William (bus operator) and 2 daughters living at the 2574 Vine Street address.

Canada Voters List 1962/63 lists William with the two daughters but no Hilda Harper (daughter of Mary)

Oh wow ,thank you for that.It would of been great if it was her niece that was the informant but Alice likes to hide !.
Her daughter Hilda died in 1957 and I think her father was still alive then.I cannot find a marriage of the sisters Lucy or Violetta either but I assumed in was because Saskatchewan records are still being put online.
Do you think there is a chance Alice went to be with her aunts rather than stay in Ontario or that's unlikely ? was hoping she did and it was explain why I cannot find a marriage.
I am sure she didn't marry in Ontario in Aug 18 and I have been through hundreds of marriages just using Alice and no surname there is not one that matches remotely.

Oh dear :( she lived to a grand age !, and with her being born then it was possible she knew Alice or had possibly heard of her.
Wish Barnados on the last inspection had just put her husbands name !
