Suggest the simplest is to look up his birth (Jan Quarter 1904) on the GRO website and spring for £8 for his birth certificate. That will give you his parents. Then you can work back via previous censuses, their marriage, etc to get his grandparents.

If you get stuck, there are plenty of people willing to show you how to figure it out, but you should really have a stab at doing it yourself too.
