In 1881:

RG11/5517/102/29
Berwig, Minera
Jane Evans, 45, Wid, b. Minera
John Evans, son, 19, labourer, b. Corwen

This address ties in with the address that malijibic found John and Catherine living at in 1891 - see Reply #1

I'll see if I can find more on Jane.

What does BB (Base Born) mean.

Base Born means illegitimate. Some vicars/clerks used to use the term.

Hi Gadget,
That is a great help I now have parents of William Jones and Elizabeth Evans. So looking for a birth of a Robert William Evans b 1875 North Wales fathers name Robert Evans a farmer. Details from a marriage cert which may be misleading as Robert William Evans entered his christian name as William for the birth of his first two children.  :D

Is this it - I'm not sure how this one fits with this query . Could you explain  :-\

Sorry if I have confused you. It was good that the surname Evans has come up. My  research begins with Robert William Evans bc 1875 North Wales who son was Robert William Evans b 1913 fostered out and cared for by Catherine Evans nee Jones born 1865 Minera Denbighshire. Catherine was married to John Evans b 1863 Corwen Merionethshire. Hope this helps.

Do you have any more information of Robert William Evans b. 1913 - e.g. where in North Wales he was born and do you have a birth cert for him?

Also, where did you find the details of the fostering?

I see that you had a thread on Robert Evans last autumn:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=755850.0

I'd forgotten about it although I spent some time looking for links ~

See:

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=755850.msg6062256#msg6062256

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=755850.msg6079197#msg6079197

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=755850.msg6079309#msg6079309

And onwards.

I assume this was the last info that you have:

After 104 years of not knowing what happened to Baby Robert William (Roy) Evans  b 1913 Senghenydd who was fostered out after the death of his father contact has been made with Roys family in NSW Australia. Roy was (cared, fostered, adopted) by his Uncle John Edward Evans. I have the marriage cert of Roy  dated 1935 at Rhosllanerchrugog Wales and it names his father as John Edward Evans  a labourer and this is all that I know to date except that he was an Uncle.
I have a newspaper clipping of the wedding which gives an address for John Edward Evans as Bryn Madoc Gwynfryn Wales.
I am looking for records that may help me further my research into John E Evans and the Evans  family and hopefully connect with the census records.
Does anybody know of Electoral rolls etc that may help identify John Edward Evans alive in 1935.

Gwynfryn is in Minera
