I have traced my family tree back to my 8 times grandfather John Armstrong who was born in Canonbie a ound about 1680, but now I am stuck. He was married to Agnes Grahame, and had a daughter named Margarett, and a son named John who was born in 1702. This John ws married to Grisil Beatie. I have a lot of information coming down the tree and back to me, but I can't get any further back. I would be grateful for any information available.
