James Baynham Baptism Look up please
« on: Friday 24 March 17 11:09 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Does anyone have access to the actual baptism records for Ross-On-Wye for 1779?

From index records I can see a James Baynham baptised on the 17 April 1779, mother Elizabeth Baynham.  I'm wondering if there is any extra information on the baptism record that hasn't been transcribed to the index record?

Hi Giggsy,

Thank you.  That was the index record (transcription) that I had previously seen.  Hoping someone has access to the original to see if there were any extra comments.

From census records my James Baynham would have had a birthdate about 1784 at Lea Bailey.  At present this seems the closest baptism to Lea Bailey.   (There is one other in Hasfield but that seems too far away and the family names don't seem to fit).  Just hoping there was perhaps something else on the original of the one mentioned above that might help, perhaps an abode.

I appreciate you taking the time to have had a look.

Regards
Judy
