This is a Catholic baptism - in latin?

First line:
Elanoram f. Patritii Stafford & Susannah Horan, P.G.

f  is for filia  = daughter (of)

Second Line:
sp James? Stafford

sp for latin "sponsi" / "sponsum"  = Sponsor (like godparent / witness)

P.G.  is  possibly the initials of the clerk / minister who added in the name of the mother?

Cheers

Whenever my husband's very elderly Irish catholic aunt sent a letter to us,she would fill it with PG's and TG's. Please God and Thanks to God.

Or as has been said it may just be the priests initials  ;D

Thank you so much AMBLY and carol8353. It is Catholic. I never thought about it being the priests initials :). Appreciate it! It could be Fances, I think Patrick has a brother named Frances.

I do so much like Carol's suggestion it could be for "Please God", though, so I do  ;D
