If I had just cut and pasted I would not have reported that Michael Berry had been recorded as a daughter (I did indeed check) but that his age had been recorded in the 'male' column, and that his age was 8 months.  I had wondered if Michael was a transcription of some female name that had been badly written.

Owen Stephen Berry's naturalization record says he is 5' 6, weighs 142 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and fair complexion.

So did he look tall because you were young?

There is a death for a Dominic Berry in the March quarter of 1915 in Westport, age 0.

I posted the census link, etc. as OP (and others reading this thread) may not have known more information can be found.

Wonder if the confusion about Michael being a daughter was to do with daughter Ellen not being home.
