Re Ellen surname unknown there are two Naomi Jones births Wrexham
One has mothers name Roberts Jun 1870 and one has mothers name Jones Sep 1871

According to the new GRO Index Naomi's MMS was also Jones.

Following on from this;Joseph Green's daughter Gertrude was to go on to marry a William F Beeston at Rhosymedre Parish Church in the Wrexham District in 1927.I was the Clwyd F.H.S Resource Centre in Cefn Mawr this afternoon and was able to look up the Marriage.

The Hayes Marriage Index states that William F's father was a John Clarke?Of course it might be said that this William F Beeston was only to go on to marry a relatively distant cousin of mine;However I am extremely reluctant to add anyone to my Tree whose birthplace and birthyear will be classified as Unknown.Also of course it makes it a whole lot more difficult in trying to find connections!

I've a good idea that the Beeston couple may well have lived in the Altrincham area of Cheshire for some time after their marriage.

Thanks,whilst I can't answer as to why the Clarke is there,I'm almost certain now he is the William Frederick Beeston born in Newport Shropshire in 1890 and who died in 1963 in Oswestry.It appears Gertrude died in Devon in 1974.

There's a probate record for that one and administration was to Gertrude Beeston widow so that fits.
