1911 census guidance
« on: Tuesday 28 March 17 18:47 BST (UK) »
Please could someone give a little guidance regarding the 1911 census. I have assumed that if someone already has a subscription and gives details of a record which they have viewed  it is then ok to help with queries and deciphering of words within the record in question.  Another member has suggested to me that that is not the case.

I don't want to blunder on regardless so would welcome advice.

Hi Christine,

If someone has posted a snippet of handwriting for deciphering from the census, then it is a straight forward deciphering question. If however someone has asked for something like Mrs Jones address in the 1911 census then that is totally different and not allowed.

Regards

Sarah
