Please, when a visit to Huntingdon R.O. is possible, could someone check the workhouse registers. for a  Ann Death, widowed,31 born Shouldham Norfolk.
James Death 13 born Downham Norfolk.
John Death  6 born Sheffield Yorks, I have checked Deaths/Births.1838-1949, no results.
please can you check the Admin/Discharge papers 1837-1930, deaths from1848-1946 for the above family, and any interesting imfo, on this family, thankyou so much.Margaret.

Did you check freebmd for a possible re-marriage given she was only 31?

There is a likely one in 1882 for an Anna Death in Huntingdon

In 1891 John Death aged 16 b Sheffield is in the Herrison Reformatory School in Suffolk

Have you not looked for him in 1901/1911 etc?

Freebmd has a possible death for James in 1936 and John in 1941 - have you checked them out?

Have you looked for John on the 1939 register?

A James Death born 1869, Downham, Norfolk joined 16th Foot Bedfordshire Regiment on 13 Oct 1887
Service number   2446.
 
He had previously served in the 5th Kings R Rifles.

His next of kin are recorded as -
Mother - Ann Death (Huntingdon)
Brother - John.

The above James served from 1887 to 1903 (completing 16 years) He served in the E. Indies and South Africa as well as home tours.

James was discharged on 19 Nov 1903.
