Hi,

I am looking for information regarding my 3rd great-grandfather, Thomas Nugent. Specifically, I would like to find out his residential address in County Cavan, Ireland and the details of his migration to Victoria, Australia. Also, any information regarding his parents, Owen Nugent & Ann Sheridan would be very much appreciated.

Current information I have about Thomas Nugent:

 - born about 1840, County Cavan, Ireland
 - died 1 December, 1898 in Brisbane, Australia
 - married Isabella Hitchcock in 1872 (Victoria, Australia)
 - Thomas & Isabella had five sons: Owen, Thomas, John James, Francis & Charles
 - Isabella passed away on the 18th September, 1883 (Brisbane, Australia.

Hi Kris,

Looks like we have some common ancestors.
My 3xGr Grandmother was Bridget Nugent, Thomas sister. Parents Owen & Ann (nee Sheridan) Nugent. Bridget was born 1835, Cavan Ireland. She married James Gilders in Adelaide 18th August 1856 so maybe the family migrated to South Australia first? James & Bridget moved to Dunolly Victoria about 1860 and Bridget passed away there on the 15th October 1868 aged just 33.
