The Hawkins family my wife is part off was........

Patrick Hawkins.  Wife Elizabeth Dunne married in 1912 these were her grandparents and there mother was Mary Lilly ( Patrick) and Mary o'brien ( Elizabeth's)

1st child Mary Kate
2nd dilly ( nickname) Bridget
3rd Sarah
4th Lucy
5th Joseph
6th Teresa
7th Patrick
8th Norah (noonie)
9th Margaret (meg)
10th Rita

The farm is still in same family not sure of present name of farm but it was.  Beech hill, Newtown,new inn,woodlawns ballinasloe co.galway

Do you mean Patrick Hawkins mother was Mary Lilly. Is Lilly part of her Christian name or her surname?
Where did you get this name?
I can't see it mentioned before.

I cannot see a marriage for this couple

Hi myluck! What we're your grandparents names who lived in woodlawns it's such a small area I suspect somebody in the family would know them

Hi sinann, it is Lally I spelt it wrong and yes she was the mother of Patrick Hawkins

Don't mind me, bad form today, that said I meant you didn't say you knew her name, I wasn't talking about the spelling.

You knew the O'Brien name and Lally is in the list at the start of the thread so I should have picked up on that and just asked if you knew.

Im just very grumpy today, sorry.
