Probus marriage 1726
« on: Wednesday 12 April 17 01:28 BST (UK) »
FreeREG and the Cornwall OPC site quote Phillimore's marriage index for:
Probus, 21 Aug 1726, Samuell MOSS married to Dorothy (Marks).  The parentheses are in Phillimore's.

Does anyone have access to the Parish Register or Bishop's Transcript and would be willing to see what the original entry is?

Many thanks
Philip

Have you asked the online Parish Clerk?

Her name can be found on the relevant parish page:

I wrote to the OPC previously, but no reply.  I'll try again.

Some people are very very lucky in that the originals are online to be pawed through, for free.

Here's probus/marriages but NOT covering the relevant dates.

If only everything were "just there", eh!

Shame it's not going back far enough!

Unfortunately, my ancestors don't show up in Probus for long.  Samuel and Dorothy married and were buried in Probus - I have no idea where they were from.  Their daughter married and moved to Gwennap.
