Welcome to rootschat, edlin.

Are you looking to find information about John's parents or children?

Parents and wife

I know he came from Sweden and that he married Eva Mae Clarke around 1898.  I know nothing about his parents or Eva's.

I did find naturalization papers for him when he was 41.  I will attach the image.

Is this his arrival (from Ancestry):

John E Anderson arrived 18th April 1892 age 21.  Swedish, departed from Liverpool on the Etruria and arrived at New York?

Hi

Here is your Johan Edward Andersson's family from Ekeskog Parish in Västragötaland County. He is written in the Church Book as an Andersson even though his father was Gustaf Larsson. Sweden usually followed the patronymic system back then. The record you posted states that he was from Ekeskogs, Sweden.

From 1890
Gustaf Larsson - b.1836
Gustafva Johansdotter - b.1846
Johan Edvard - b.31 Jan 1871
Emma - b.1873
Anders Gustaf - b.1875
Carl Linus - b.1878
August - b.1881
Oskar - b.1885
Frans Wilhelm - b.1888
