You could try Robert Challoner first as there are a number of online trees for the one that Cas lists in 1901 that do look promising.

If it helps I believe the father of William Herbert Jones is a Samuel Jones.

Census record in 1911- 30 Nelson Street, Wrexham with parents Samuel and Elizabeth (nee Phillips).

The birth certificate of the son born in 1924 has the same address, 30 Nelson Street.
