Thanks for all this research.

Mystery remains as to how this postcard was used in 1912 in Shakespeare, Ontario Canada.  When Devon was suggested it made sense as there was family from there.  Oxfordshire seems to have no connection we can find.

Possible that there were more companies making postcards in England and they were shipped to Canada.

There is an odd mark on the reverse of the card Upsidedown 421G (see attached)
