Help with deaths - Andrew Thomson

I have found two potential deaths of my ancestor Andrew Thomson (b. 11.02.1750) in New Monkland - dates of death 30.06.1813 or 31.12.1814
How do I work out which is 'my' ancestor? No other details on the record other than cost for mort cloth

Don't think you can really  :-\ You may be lucky if you were to find a gravestone and be able to tell from that. If relevant for him, he may have left a will & testament that also may provide clues.
