advice please
« on: Thursday 20 April 17 18:15 BST (UK) »
I am attempting to fill  data in family  tree. My research focusses on 1880-1905 Surrey England.
Family Search.org and 1881&1891 censuses have provided some details.
Specifically- Frederick Thomas Skinner of Thomas and Jane Skinner
Jane Skinner nee Turnball, Frederick's  Mother b 1853 Kent
                  Thomas Skinner Frederick's Father b 1834 Leicestershire
I would like to find out what happened to these individuals

Any direction would be appreciated

Hi

Do you have access to Ancestry either at home or with your library card?

Surrey's parish registers have been digistised and transcribed there.

Where in Surrey?

Now that is interesting... the info I have on Marriage is 22 Aug 1880 St John's Church Surrey.
How does one determine which info is  correct?

thanks

They are both correct!
The GRO collated the BMD info quarterly.
The information I gave stated September quarter - i.e. July, August and September - for the registration.

The GRO Index Search gives Frederick's mother's maiden name as Turnbull:
SKINNER, FREDERICK        TURNBULL

Just as dawnsh said - the records are on Ancestry.
I use the free access at my local library.
