Edward/Edmond Barrett 99th Foot Regiment
« on: Monday 24 April 17 06:00 BST (UK) »
Does anyone know of records of soldiers arriving in Australia from the 99 th Foot Regiment or how to find records from the Military Barracks St James Sydney? I'm looking for more information on my 4 th gg Edmond Barrett & his actual service here after arriving on the ship Candahar in 1842.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Many thanks
As I have his soldier number the wardrobe link could possibly give me a plethora of knowledge. Finding files on individual soldiers has proven a difficult task from the other side of the globe.
Greatly appreciated.
