Hi people, I am looking for a James Gordon, son of George Gordon and Sarah McLean...he was born about 1822 in Glasgow and died 1913 in New Zealand. He married Helen Forrest, daughter of John Forest and Jane Amour, Helen born 1819 Blantyre, Larnarkshire,
any info appreciated

Sorry Azzie but all my Gordons came to Scotland from Ireland in the late 1850's so no connection to yours that I know of.

The banns for their marriage were proclaimed in Blantyre and Glasgow March 1842
