That's interesting! Ainsworth's profession is listed as 'policeman' on his son John's marriage to Mary Rigley in 1904...

Yes, he can marry, have children etc when stationed in Co Carlow but he couldn't have kin in Carlow when he was assigned to there and therefore not his Native County. If his subsequent wife was a Native of Carlow they would be moved after marriage.

Children born when he was there would be Natives.
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
