Leckhampstead in Bucks or Berkshire?
« on: Tuesday 09 May 17 22:54 BST (UK) »
Hi there
Have an ancestor, Joane SPICER, burial 1623 "in Berkshire". Her husband was a rector in Leckhampstead  till 1626. Don't know where he went after he resigned from there

Apparently the town is sometimes down as in Berks or Bucks - can anyone give same advice please?
Thanks
Meegan

If it helps Leckhampstead in Berkshire never had a Rector - it was a chapelry of Chieveley.
