Researching at Woodhorn
« on: Saturday 13 May 17 01:00 BST (UK) »
I have just been told that Woodhorn have abandoned their own readers card system and adopted the more widely used CARN.

If you haven't got a CARN card or (like me) you have one which is out of date then you will need to take photo ID and a utility bill along on your next visit in order to register.

It's one of my fellow researchers we need to thank.  If she hadn't mentioned it on the phone last night I'd have been none the wiser either!

I have only missed being at Woodhorn for the last two weeks and there wasn't a hint of it on my last visit  :-\  There's nothing I can see on the website either.
