Look up Request for Birth of Joan Saunders in Devon

Hello,

I am researching my 6 x Great Grandmother family line a Joan Saunders and looking for a place of birth for her and date of birth and names of her parents and if she had any siblings.  I would welcome help with finding this information please.   

So far I know she married a George Sharland on 24th October 1742 at St Peters Church Tiverton. 
I descend from their son Emmanuel Sharland a peruke maker. (born 1742 - died 1770)
their other children were
Thomas Sharland 1744–
George Sharland 1754–
Mary Sharland date of birth unknown–1752

Thanks for the information on Margaret Sharland which I didnt know about and have added this information to my family tree incluuding the birth date for Mary Sharland.

I am still searching for the birth of Joan Saunders and would welcome any help with this and Joan's place of birth.

Maybe she had been married before.  Unfortunately the marriage entry to George Sharland only lists their names and date of marriage.

Not sure if this is any help but there is a baptism for a Jone Saunders on 5 July 1719 at Crediton.  Parents are John and Jone Saunders.

Crediton is 11 miles from Tiverton. 

A possibility perhaps?

Another possibility with surname spelt slightly differently:-

Jane Sanders baptised on 9 May 1722 at Bickleigh nr. Tiverton, father's name is William.

Bickleigh is nearer to Tiverton than Crediton, about five miles between Bickleigh and Tiverton.
