Barnado Welsh Boy

Hi everyone first time posting

I am tracking down info on my Grandfather. Walter Frederick William Jones.
I just found out he is a Barnado Boy and came out to Australia. I believe he is Welsh from what dad tells me.
Do I contact Barnado Aus directly or is there somewhere I can search?

He died in 1986 in Wollongong, NSW Australia.....On the death cert it says he was 74....so I'm thinking 1913 birth but terribly unsure.
