Wow..fascinating  information Mick. I have a letter with Roger's name on.in fact, I have only just put my George Savage  files on one side.

I have a book with lots of data in it. My direct link is through David Savage  senior, younger son David. John Stephen Savage is my dad's name.

The amount of data I have revolves around George Savage,  why he migrated to New Zealand.

We moved from Frodsham  to mid Wales  in 2004,Presteigne.

We have a less abled daughter who lives with us,Anita has chronic fatigue syndrome and autism. Lovely lady, 51 yrs of age..

Chat tomorrow, Mick

I have been to rhyll to see my mum.she wasintrigued to hear the unfortunate story of her great uncle George, as she travelled extensively in new Zealand a few years back. unfortunately she could not recall her dad or her uncles ever talking about family. she did say that she had cousins in Runcorn, warrington and preston. she also has a brother Arthur living in Runcorn  and a deceased sister Sylvia. I hope this is of interest to you.
                                             best regards  mick

Very much so Mick.I can match names with some of the names you have mentioned.

How very exciting  family research is.

Mine started with just a name at the foot of a family headstone  plus  two letters from 'our ancestors.

See how far your roots will go.

If I can copy any of my records, will do.

Ciao
