Accessing WAAF records WW2
« on: Tuesday 16 May 17 22:31 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help please? I would like to access the records of a member of the WAAF who joined during WW2 . However although I have her name and age and approximate time when she left, I do not have her date of birth or service number. Is there any way of finding out?

This is The National Archives guide which may help. There is a link where you can download the application forms.

You don't need a birth date or service number but you do need a copy of her death certificate. There is a 30 pound fee.

I think you may be able to find a summary of her service here
