Hi to all,  Is there a way to find old medical or hospital records from the 1800's.

Depends on which hospital and which era.
Some workhouses have records online.
Be more specific.
All census look up transcriptions are Crown Copyright http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Hi Jack

The London Metropolitan Archives has published information leaflets here, there's a subsection for hospitals

https://www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/things-to-do/london-metropolitan-archives/visitor-information/Pages/information-leaflets.aspx

The National Archives has worked with the Wellcome Trust to produce a hospitals database

What are you hoping to find?

Dawn
