Just joined! Hampshire and Wiltshire connections

Hi - just discovered this site today and registered straight away. I have a lot to learn about using the site but I have to start somewhere so here goes! 
My family research interests are:
Hampshire: WESTBROOK and GARRETT families, locations including Aldershot, Crondall, Wield.
Wiltshire: FORD and COOPER families, locations including Codford St Mary, Heytesbury, Warminster.
I have spent quite a few years researching my family using Ancestry, Find My Past etc but there is always so much more to find out, so if anyone is also researching these families and would like to share information please reply.

Interested in your Garretts and if any came to Australia? Looking for a connection to a Richard Garrett 1797 (on headstone) and reputed to be from Hampshire or Sussex. Married a Mary Allen in Chichester 1822

Have you had a look on the Rootschat Surname Interests Table to see if anyone else is researching the same families.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Surname Interests, you can search for your family names and add your own to the table.

You may want to start with one of your own queries, listing all you know, names/dates/places as many people researching names are directed here by 'google' searches if that name is on this site.

There is also a Forum on here for 'Surname Interests' if you scroll to the bottom of the page, it's within the Brown area.

Hi David and thanks for your quick reply. I did a quick check on my tree and Richard Garrett does not appear I'm afraid. I've never come across any of 'my' Garretts that went to Australia, although some of my Westbrook ancestors did.
