Surname from mid 17th century register

Looking for a second opinion on the name of an ancestor's bride in the mid 17th century parish register of Hemington, Somerset(16th February 1655/6, Steven Cradock to Judith  A*****). The original is illegible under normal conditions, but I was able to take a picture using the uv lamp at the Somerset Archives - see attachment.
The entry was actually written by my 8x great grandfather, who was the parish register for Hemington and Hardington during the Commonwealth.

Averie seems likely to me too. If it's possible to show a little more of the surrounding text, it might help with letter-comparison.

Thank you for your suggestions.
There were indeed Averies at nearby Frome and Mells, but I couldn't trace a Judith,
Unfortunately I could not seem to find the uv picture of the wider text.
But I have attached an ordinary photo of the 1655 marriages.
The entry in question is at the bottom - the least well preserved.
As I said, the rather scrappy handwriting is that of my 8x great grandfather, Thomas Grist, whose appointment as Parish Register heads the original page.

The r in mariages and the v in Novimber help to strengthen the case for our reading, in my opinion.

Yes, I agree. It might be written Avere, with just -e at the end rather than -ie. There’s a very similar ‘open’ e at the end of the in the line above, for example. But essentially it’s the same name.

Thank you for your responses.
My next step will be to do a general study of families with this name in the area, and hope I might get lucky. There is a connection between some of the Averies in Mells and Frome,  although that line originated in Congresbury/Yatton and were armigerous.
