Hi Sinann.
I think that's what it says as well, I've been thinking maybe Army based or travellers. all the documents i have found he has used his fathers name. I have a few records for him but nothing between the baptism and joining the army, can't find any army records. The army details i have come from ancestry, someone else has a letter with these details on, think he said he was given the letter from a family member but doest know much about it.
Here's what i know.
