Hello,

Here is your earlier thread where there is some information about Leonard. Have you seen it?

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=771186.

Jebber has given you his parents - William Clark and Jane Ings. Are you now looking to go back from there?

Regards
Heywood

It looks as if father William may have died, registered Fordingbridge June  1885, and Jane married Charles West,  registered Fordingbridge  March 1889. In 1891 Leonard's place o f birth given as Hungerford.

Because William and Jane married after 1881 census and William died before 1891, you will need to obtain a copy of their marriage certificate which will give you the name of William's father to help you identify him.

Assuming it is his death recorded in 1885, when he was 25, it is possible that he was born 1859/60. The birth of a William Clark was registered in Fordingbridge in March 1859, mother's maiden name Gurd.  The names of Thomas Clark and Eliza Gurd appear on the same page of the Fordingbridge marriage  register in June 1846. This is totally speculative but could be of interest and worth following up
