Marriage 1697 or thereabouts Roger POUND and Joan

HI there

Would like some help for the above marriage please? 2 children - Peter and Elizabeth - were bap on same day in 1697 in Petrockstowe Devon so possibly Roger and Joan from there. Have found Joan but 1713 in Merton and Merton is involved in other descendants.

Can't seem to find m. in LDS, FreeReg. A*cestry or FindMyPast

Try contacting the Petrockstowe  O P C  (on-line parish clerk) who has access to some Pound records. Sorry, I'm not clever enough to give you the link.

A Roger POUND married an Elizabeth PRAT in Taunton, Somerset 21 Apr 1685. However, that is some 60 miles away. Never mind, he appears to have been buried there in 1732.

Tried the OPC but the email/link isn't working and haven't been able to find a new one unfortunately.

Unsure about the burial of Roger in 1732, DOB, since have nothing of him being near Taunton. Will try and chase someone up with marriages, probably the Devon Record Office
